EXDXF-Pro2

Features

EXDXF-Pro2 provides the capability to import CAD-standard DXF files into Adobe Illustrator, and to export Illustrator (AI) files to CAD — making data compatible in both applications. Illustrator CS2 includes basic DXF/DWG import and export functions, but Illustrator's translator may not recognize or convert lines, curves, and objects as expected in every case. _EXDXF-Pro2 can export and import to bridge Adobe Illustrator with the CAD environment to output DXF files with beautiful and accurate curved lines based on its own smoothing technology. It is the perfect tool for operators who work with both CAD and Adobe Illustrator!

Exporting:

• covers DXF release 12;

• requires about 512KB of memory;

• uses its own smoothing technology;

• line optimization is based on its own technology;

• reduces the number of anchor points and peaks;

• outputs lines that meets the requirement of each CAD user; and

• supports JW-CAD.

Newly added functions:

• opens and expands appearance;

• better coordinates accuracy (4 digit to 6 digit); and

• supports CAD applications that limits the peak number.

Importing:

• supports DXF versions for R12.R13.R14;

• reads maps larger than 3m X 3m;

• original approximate technology to make Béziér curves;

• setting of the origin point, unit, and reduced scale;

• joins the points; and

• converts special characters into Chinese characters.

Newly added functions:

• deletes unnecessary peaks on the poli lines;

• enables user to choose settings of imported fonts; and

• when joining neighboring lines, there is no need to distinguish them by order, starting point, and terminal point.
