Many professionals are familiar with the problem: quality loss caused by digital image magnification. In many cases a great deal of time is being spent on achieving just mediocre enlargement results. Unwanted side-effects such as blurry and serrated edges often set in, that are illustrative of the lack of professional image-magnification software.

PhotoZoom Pro 2 is based on S-Spline XL: a renewed and improved version of BenVista's patented, self-adjusting, many-times-awarded S-Spline interpolation technology. Following in S-Spline's tracks, S-Spline XL introduces yet another revolutionary breakthrough in digital-image enlargement. It is able to render sharp, crisp, clear image magnifications, without introducing serrated edges, blurriness, or unnatural looking artifacts.

To ensure optimum results with every and each image type, the S-Spline XL technique can be fully finetuned to the user's liking. Even when there is digital noise — such as JPEG artifacts — present in the original image, S-Spline XL is able to render smooth looking enlargements, whereas other techniques only aggravate such roughnesses. This makes PhotoZoom Pro 2 the perfect enlargement solution not only for high-quality photos, but even for those low-quality images often seen on the web.

PhotoZoom Pro 2 allows enlargements up to absolutely unrivaled sizes: one million by one million pixels. Furthermore, it offers batch processing, allowing the user to resize huge amounts of images in one pass. The software can be used both as a stand-alone application, and as a Photoshop compatible Plug-in.

PhotoZoom Pro 2 processes images up to 40% faster than PhotoZoom Pro 1, is fully compatible with Photoshop CS3, and comes with an improved, completely re-written, user guide.
