Galaxy Gauge

Features

Galaxy Gauges are for great designers who need great tools. Hold these gauges and understand the difference between graphics tools made by some corporate factory, and these, made by graphic designers.

Galaxy Gauge 18 Imperial Features:

• save wasted hours spent hunting down conversions and specs;

• improved conversion venires, and better enlargement/reduction tool;

• precise and affordable;

• increments in points, picas, centimeters, and inches (with built-in conversion tool);

• bullets and rule weights;

• fraction-to-decimal conversions;

• leading, angles, and circles;

• FTP clock;

• scan sizes;

• serif and sans serif type sizes (E scale);

• screen densities, screen frequencies, and line-work resolutions;

• enlargement/reductions; and

• precision decimal, inch, and millimeters.

Galaxy Gauge 18 Metric is identical to the Galaxy Gauge 18 Imperial, but has the metric scale on the outside edge of the gauge and the inches scale on the inside. The point/pica scale remains in the same position. Made for the designer who prefers to work with metric, but still needs to convert to inches and points/picas.

Galaxy Gauge 12 Elite is made for designers who prefer the smaller format. The Elite has fewer onboard tools, which makes it a less-powerful but elegant little gauge. Some designers prefer to do most of their work with the Elite and only grab their full-sized Galaxy Gauge when the situation demands. The Elite is also a good tool for word processors and casual users of office desktop-publishing applications.
