Cacidi's LiveMerge 2.0 is the perfect InDesign CS3 Plug-in for graphic design workgroups to efficiently layout any kind of product data.

Create documents in the usual manual manner — or make the process even easier with Cacidi LiveMerge. This product enables the user to create and reuse design group objects and receive a live feed of text and images from the product database.

Focus on design and layout and let Cacidi LiveMerge control the state of content in the document at all times. The content will dynamically update as projects are being created. No need for checking to verify that document content is correctly up to date, Cacidi LiveMerge handles the entire process. With Live Merge, get InDesign-driven variable-data publishing.

For the graphic designer, working with Cacidi LiveMerge 2.0 is as simple as selecting or searching for the content/product needed, then simply drag and drop the design from the design library palette onto the page layout.

Even creating new designs happens faster. Any text can be dynamically fed and updated from the data source, just place brackets around the text. Dynamic image links are just as easy.

Optionally, Cacidi LiveMerge can monitor and handle all updating without user intervention. With start auto-update, the document automatically polls the data source for changes, and updates on the fly.

Cacidi LiveMerge 2.0 puts an end to tiresome proofing cycles — even large documents are updated to current content in seconds.

Cacidi LiveMerge 2.0 fully supports the Extreme BarCodes 3.0 features, enabling the user to include barcodes in the design.

Within the Cacidi LiveMerge design modules — an InDesign table for example — it is possible to include data string searches (so called SQL queries), enabling Cacidi LiveMerge designs to place content based on predefined query strings. For all table-based production, such as price lists and product catalogues, this is extremely efficient.
